Wow, its been over a month since I posted last. Its been a busy time.
Birthdays, Easter, family in town!
Birthdays, Easter, family in town!
At the beginning of April we celebrated Andrew's big 3 0!
Yep, that's right he's 30. It was so much fun planning a weekend of surprises for him.
On Saturday, the 2nd he went golfing and lunch with friends, shooting range with his cousin Jeremy and then dinner at an awesome restaurant with the boys and I.
All in all I think Andrew really enjoyed his day even while being a little "shocked" that I pulled it off without him knowing.

The following day we went to a birthday party for two of the three Pendleton kiddos. The boys had a lot of fun playing with their friends and partying at Chuck E Cheese.
Later that day family met us at one of Andrew's favorite pizza places in Ohio, Mellow Mushroom for one last surprise.
We enjoyed seeing everyone.
We enjoyed seeing everyone.
Then a few busy weeks in between ....
Easter...
We had a great Easter. The boys enjoyed getting to see the Easter bunny at Chick Fil A
and meeting their cousins there to play. We went to church and then up to visit with family.
I do wonder how much longer Jacob is going to believe in the Easter bunny. For the most part
"Santas" are pretty consistently dressed...big red coat/pants and white beard. Bunnies on the other hand
come in all shapes and sizes, clothes and even teeth. A few years ago while living in Iowa the "EB" had big teeth that frankly looked a little scary. Jacob being too young to really understand didn't say too much but got up on the bunny's lap and posed for a picture. This year while at the mall Jacob sees the "EB" and he yells "Oh that's not the Easter Bunny, that's the Grandpa to the Easter Bunny" While he was correct, the bunny looked old, with glasses and a Grandpaish looking sweater vest thing on, in not even Easter pastels. As another opportunity arose for the boys to see the Easter Bunny I was curious as to what Jacob would say. So, we go to Chick Fil A, meeting the family....including Aaron, Kelly and the girls the night before Easter. Of course knowing that at Chick Fil A would be one of Tom's staff posing as the bunny, I wasn't going to per say rush Jacob to see the bunny. Well he saw the "bunny" and exclaimed so that I'm sure all the restaurant could hear him including little kids in line..."that's not the real bunny its too small" So, I'm not sure what next year will bring us. I think Jacob is a smart little guy and quickly puts things together.
Pictures soon...of all of our festivities for the past month that I have been MIA.
