Cute Boys!

I tried..

I tried to get the boys together tonight for a picture, but could not get both of them looking in the same direction, same time with a smile.
Here are the 2 closest and cutest attempts.

Helpers!

The boys are very interested when we grill out.
They enjoy being little helpers.
Tonight I noticed right as Daddy turns his back to go into the house
Jacob picks up the tongs to arrange his food, so that is what he said.
Oh silly boys think that after bath time its time to go outside in their jammies too!

Hello, "Pop-fall"

Owen is very fascinated with the phone as of late.
If he finds one he instantly says..."Hello Pop-fall"
Its very cute.

Thank You Jeremy, Janet, & Jovie

Thank You Jeremy, Janet and Jovie.
We appreciate the package you sent for the boys.
We are reminded once again how wonderful our family is.
We love you all.

*Thomas Tug Boat toy not pictured because I forgot to take photos during bath time, but it was a HUGE hit, they LOVED it.

Summertime in Utah...

The boys LOVE being outside. They love playing on Jacob's "motorcycle"
Its funny because we thought it would be a year or so before Owen would be able to ride it, but he has proved us wrong.

Cheesy Smile for Momma.

Jacob loves to go fishing, but since we have yet to go since our big move...he enjoys just casting in the front yard.
As I type this I wonder what our neighbors think? hmmm!

Night Night Time with Daddy

The boys loved to be cuddled.
Tonight I captured Daddy with his two little boys....one holding onto Lighting McQueen, while the other who refused to take off his back pack is clenching on to Buzz.

Its moments like this that I NEVER want to forget.

Making Brownies!

The boys enjoyed some baking time with Mommy today.

OOooops, what's happening?!

Good thing baking will take away the germs right?!

Waiting for their masterpiece to be done!

Jacob at the park...

A few weeks ago we found another park in our subdivision.
So we call them..."Green Park or Yellow Park"
This particular day we met up with a friend and the boys played with their kids.

The Brown's (Adam, Jenny, Dylan and Addy) our good friends from Arizona..
sent Jacob a birthday gift. One gift was an egg. We placed the egg in the water and in about
24 hours out hatched a little stegasaurs. Jacob LOVED watching the egg start to crack.
He did ask if the dino was going to be real. ha ha ha. We will leave the little guy in the water for a few more days and he is suppose to grow so more.

The boys were very excited to see the dino out.

Thanks Browns....we love and miss you all too.

Low Clouds

The views out here are goregous.
The other day it was very cloudy.
Look how low the clouds are in comparisson to the big mountain.

Bubble Time...

OOOOOOpppppppppppppppppsssss..
Bubbles EVERYWHERE.
Mommy was giving the boys a bath one night in her big jetted tub.
She put way too much bubbles in apparently because the jets made the bubbles multiply.

Just for you Mommaw

Owen's photo skills

Lately the boys have been OBSESSED with playing with Mommy's camera.
Jacob and Owen enjoy taking pictures of random things like pictures of pictures, the vents, the lights and toys.
Today Owen was playing with the camera and captured this one. I just thought it was adorable how he got Carter's little legs and feet.
Oh these boys just melt my heart : )

Could it be...

we think it is...

Mountain Fire

I was making lunch when I happened to look out the window and notice a lot of smoke on the mountain.

We watched it for a while as planes and helicopters would fly in and drop "red stuff" or so that is what we called it as we have no clue the "technical" name for it to contain the fire.

Almost 18 months

Owen is very quickly approaching 18 months. Its crazy how fast time flies. We took his pacifier away almost 2 weeks ago. Its been an adjustment for us all; however, as much as he was attached to that "paci" he is doing surprisingly well with it being gone. Since giving up the paci, he has started rambling on more and more each day.
His latest words are: rocket, Buzz, hot dog, more, milk and done. He already says ...Mom, Dad, Jacob and Carter...but everyday seems to add new words to his vocabulary, sure it won't be long and he will be talking as much as Jacob.

Thanks Grandma Debbie for the shirt. It was a hit with both of the boys, more so Owen as he didn't want to take it off for bed, so we compromised and he was able to wear it to bed...then the morning came and he still wanted to wear it even after he smashed in bananas on it.
